With close to 40 years in Southern New England communications, her firm is the recipient of three First Place Gold Mercury Awards from the Public Relations Society of America's Connecticut Valley chapter.

Laura is responsible for positioning CFDA and its individual members as experts in the funeral industry through communications that reach and influence a wide variety of audiences, locally and nationally. She works with television, radio, print and online reporters and editors on local, state, and national topics, and coordinates appropriate efforts with the National Funeral Directors Association. The Northwestern University graduate’s work for CFDA and its member funeral homes has resulted in stories in such influential media as the The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, CBS Evening News, ABC's 20/20, and all of Connecticut’s daily newspapers, broadcast TV, and major radio stations.
