About Shauna Molloy
Shauna K. Molloy grew up nearby in Newington, Connecticut, the oldest daughter of Tom and Pam Molloy.
Shauna began working at Molloy Funeral Home in West Hartford in 1994 after receiving her AS in Mortuary Science from Briarwood College.
She has been a member of CFDA since 1994 and an active Executive Board Member since 2004. In addition to her funeral service degree, Ms. Molloy has a BS in Business from Post College and an MBA from the
University of Hartford.
She is a Connecticut State and NFDA Certified Embalmer and received her CFSP in 1998. In 2004 she became co-owner of Molloy Funeral Home and in 2004 and 2005 Molloy Funeral Home was awarded the Eagle
Award for Excellence in Funeral Service from NFDA. Shauna is an avid runner and has successfully completed five marathons. She also enjoys swimming, biking and home restoration.
Shauna Molloy epitomizes the theme "stability, strength and service." She has worked on CFDA committees whether it was for scholarships, fund raising or playing legislative hardball. For the
past three years she has served and will continue to be the Association Spokesperson.
In the coming year she will focus her abilities on dealing with an unpredictable economy and keeping CFDA at the forefront of legislative issues and changing technology.
She will expect no less of herself than she does of every member of CFDA for she knows that the ability to serve the community depends on the strength and stability of the
Association. Prepare to become involved in your Association.
