About Pasquale Folino
Pasquale Folino was born in Sewickley, Pennyslvania and was raised by two Italian immigrants parents Joseph and Antonetta Folino. He spent his early years living in both Pennsylvania and in Sambiase,
Italy. In 1974, he and his parents settled in New London, where Pasquale spent his formative years, graduating from New London High School in 1984. He resides in Waterford with his wife Angela and their
three daughters, Mary, Allesondra and Sofia.
He became a funeral director/embalmer in 1988 after completing professional schooling at the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. In 1991, he joined Neilan Funeral Home serving the families of
southeastern Connecticut. In 2002 he became an owner and partner and serves as Vice President of the firm.
Pasquale has served the Connecticut Funeral Director Association as a member of the Executive Committee , Secretary and Vice- President. He has also chaired the annual CFDA Scholarship Golf Tournament for
the past 4 years and currently serves as co-chair of the Trends Committee.
In his local community, Folino has served on the Board of Directors of Hospice of Southeastern Connecticut and the American Cancer Society Board of Directors for the Eastern Region of Connecticut; Folino,
has served as President of the following organizations: Waterford Rotary Club, New London Lions Club. Proud of his Italian heritage, he served as president of the Sons of Italy of Southeastern
Connecticut for seven years, and, Vice-President of the Connecticut Grand Lodge Orders Sons Italy in America, where he chaired the scholarship fund that raised and awarded thousands of dollars to high
school students of Italian heritage.
Pasquale enjoys cycling, reading, coaching his daughters' youth soccer teams, visiting his family in Italy and most of all spending time with his wife and
children.
